Lens Attachments for LED Boards
Protect-R-Shield has developed a process to apply optical lenses to printed circuit boards containing LED light sources. Secondary optical lens attachment to LED light modules can be very time consuming, tedious and messy if the correct material is not selected, so Protect-R-Shield invented a means of permanently bonding the optical lenses to the PCBs, with or without a lens holder, by applying a selected adhesive that has a subsequent low-temperature heat cure. The automated process precisely dispenses the adhesive around a LED to attach the lens without the solution migrating to the surface of the LED.
