Hazardous or Severe Environment Lighting Fixtures

Rig-A-Lite introduces the SXPJ series of lighting fixtures with copper-free, cast aluminum housing suitable for use in offshore rigs, land drilling rigs, oil and gas production, refineries, chemical plants, pharmaceutical plants, industrial manufacturing, wastewater treatment plants or other areas where hazardous gases, dusts and fibers are present. It is also rated for marine and heavy hose-down environments where salt spray and corrosive chemicals may be a factor.

Fixtures are available with 100-W LED or up to 84-W CFL lamping in multiple wattages, external stainless steel hardware, and a heat- and impact-resistant prismatic glass globe. The wireless electro-mechanical connection allows for quick, safe installation and maintenance and uses the same outlet box as the HID version, allowing for easy replacement of R-A-L SXP series luminaries with more energy-efficient SXPJ LED luminaries.

The SXPJ series meets the following standards and approvals: Class I Division 1, Groups C & D; Class I, Zone 1, Groups IIA & IIB; Class II, Division 1, Groups E, F & G (except trunnion mount); UL 844, 1598, 1598A & 8750 Factory Sealed; NEMA Type 4X, IP66; LED Version Tested to IESNA LM-79 & LM-80 standards.
