The United States is on the verge of a lighting revolution! High-efficiency lighting will transform the way we design, build, and operate America’s commercial buildings. Advanced lighting technology is one of the quickest ways to dramatically reduce U.S. commercial buildings’ energy use and carbon emissions.

The U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Commercial Building Energy Alliances (CBEAs) and the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IES) are uniting high-efficiency lighting and controls suppliers to commercial building owners and operators through the Lighting and Controls Supplier Summit.

This event, held just prior to LIGHTFAIR® International 2010, gives suppliers a chance to:

• Meet with dozens of influential commercial building owners and operators

• Highlight emerging lighting and controls products and technologies

• Learn about “wish lists” and performance requirements of major buyers

• Gain insights needed for market leadership in energy-efficient, sustainable, and cost-competitive lighting products.
