    Product Detailed Description
    Jane Grosslight
Jane Grosslight’s latest book, recognized for its contributions by the 2010 IES Progress Report, is a how-to book for homes and businesses who want to reduce energy costs by replacing energy-inefficient light bulbs with efficient ones and by knowing how to utilize daylight for the greatest savings. A section is devoted on how to interpret the two differing lighting facts labels--one for all screw-based lamps and the other for all LED products. She goes on to addresses questions about bulb wattage, bulb shape, color of light, and where to put the bulb, and discusses the advantages and disadvantages of compact fluorescent, compact cold cathode, and LED bulbs.  Grosslight also explains how to determine actual savings and payback time. Illustrations and cartoons help make the information more enjoyable. Website references lead to further information and product purchases.
