The Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IES) is presenting a symposium on the role and effects of lighting on the elderly to be held in Washington, DC on March 6-7, 2012.

The two day symposium is designed to educate people about the needs of the elderly for proper lighting and its effects on vision, safety (especially falls), quality of life, and health. The program will also feature the latest research on the special needs of lighting for seniors. Registration will be limited.
