As part of its mission, the IES works collaboratively with other organizations around the world. With some organizations, the IES has Formal Alliances – written agreements in the form of Memoranda of Understanding, Friendship Agreements, and the like. With others, collaboration is on an informal basis called Supportive Partnerships. While no formal written agreement exists, collaborative efforts with these organizations are no less important or meaningful.
