Liliana González is a Mexican architect and has been a lighting professional for the past 30 years; her background includes architecture, home automation, lighting controls, and business development.

She is the founder and CEO of a group of three companies Italux, Art in Control, and Luminografica, the latter of which has been part of the Elite Group of Lutron Electronics´ dealers in Latin America for the past 19 years.

She has been an invited teacher and speaker in international and national seminars related to lighting, technology, and business development.

Liliana is currently an At-Large Director for the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) and past President of the IES Mexico section being the only woman that has held this position. She has focused on opening opportunities for young people and fostering a broader participation of female professionals.

Liliana lives with her husband and two children in Mexico City. She enjoys cooking, gardening, and discovering the magic of the city taking frequent walks.
