Committee Chair – – Billy Tubb

Profile Image
Billy is a Theatre Consultant, Special Systems Engineer, Commercial Lighting Designer, as well as a Theatrical Lighting and Sound Designer. For 30 years he was the Technical Director of Popejoy Hall, working on over 6500+ live events such as Phantom of the Opera, Wicked, Pavarotti, Elton John and the Rolling Stones. Billy served as the President of the Illuminating Engineering Society New Mexico chapter for 6 years, Chair and Vice-Chair of IES District 4, and is currently the South Regional Director and on the IES Board of Directors. Billy has a BFA in Technical Theatre and Design from the University of New Mexico.
