Purpose
The goal of the Nominating Committee is to select a balanced slate of candidates to serve on the IES Board of Directors who are capable and willing to commit time to accomplish their assigned duties.

Committee Chair - Lance M. Bennett
Lance has been in the lighting industry for over 30 years, and has been with Eaton’s Lighting business for over 24 years. He is responsible for global sales of all specification products for the US based division. Prior to his current role, he has served in a variety of capacities for Cooper Lighting, from regional sales to area vice president in the US. Lance’s previous global experience includes opening the first international office for a large, US based, multinational lighting controls company, as well as product development and marketing. Lance, who is an engineer by education, is a member of the IES and IALD LIRC as well as corporate member of the USGBC and AIA Cornerstone Partner. Lance currently is serving on the Board of Directors for the IES, as well as the International Landscape Lighting Institute. Lance has previously served on the Board of the IALD Education Trust.
