[12.9.4] Inflammatory response of the cornea and conjunctiva of the eye following exposure to ultraviolet radiation. Wavelengths shorter than 320 nm are most effective in causing photokeratoconjunctivitis. The peak of the action spectrum is in the vicinity of 270 nm.
