pressed reflector lamp

An incandescent filament lamp or electric discharge lamp in which the outer bulb is formed of two pressed parts that are fused or sealed together; in particular, a reflectorized bowl and a cover that may be clear or patterned for optical control.

Note: Often called a projector lamp or PAR lamp.
