[12.9.6.1] S(λ)
A function in the ultraviolet spectrum for evaluating risk of acute injury to the eyes (photokeratoconjunctivitis). For convenience in safety analysis, this function is defined to include acute risk to the skin (erythema); there is a de facto safety factor for skin because of its lower sensitivity.
