DALI stands for digital addressable lighting interface, and the open standard was born in the 1990s to encourage a unified lighting control standard for digital dimming across the industry. With the most recent update of DALI 2 in 2020, this presentation examines the current state of Dali-based lighting control solutions, their unique capabilities when compared to analog dimming methods, and their applications to occupant health, safety, well-being, and more.

Phillip Ruane – Lighting Controls Sales Manager, Lighting Environments
Phillip has worked in lighting sales since 2012, with the last 7 years at Lighting Environments. He calls primarily on the architectural and specification communities, helping them craft high quality, energy efficient lighting solutions with the best available new technologies.
