Webinar: Lighting For Health and Wellness AIA Presentation

17 February 2022 | 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm CST

IES Milwaukee Section

The recent pandemic experience is a potential catalyst for corporate and societal health and wellness initiatives and investments as critical workplace differentiators moving forward. The scale of this problem underscores the need for multi-layered systemic solutions that are both proactive and preventable. New corporate health and wellness initiatives will require the creation of work environments designed to keep employees and customers safe, healthy and prevent illness. Widespread preventative systemic change is required. The scope and severity of our new reality demand modern-day tools for multi-layered antimicrobial defense. Such options as ozone, UV light and green cleaning practices are being added to our global arsenal to combat germs. A new class of antimicrobial light addresses the gaps in continuous protection for these commercial, corporate and societal applications.

PRESENTER:
Scott Manning is the Western Regional Sales Manager for PMC Lighting with 15 years in the lighting manufacturing industry. He’s worked with non-UV antimicrobial lighting since 2016 while at Kenall and Visa Lighting. The technology has proven to kill viruses, including Sars Cov-2 virus. Scott is very passionate about this technology and its possibilities in becoming part of a multi layered approach to cleaning our work place environments and other high touch, high traffic areas.
