IES Lighting Education Tour 2024

Tour Locations & Dates:
Nashville, TN – May 30, 2024  | Upper Marlboro, MD – June 11, 2024  |  Cranbury, NJ – June 13  |  Houston, TX – July 18, 2024  |  Seattle, WA – July 31, 2024

IES is expanding the impact of standards-based education by curating a unique educational tour experience. Earn 6 CEUS/AIA-HSWs at this one-day event, featuring expert-lead sessions on color and vision fundamentals and current research pertaining to the impact of light on human physiology and behavior. Two IES Standards are included in the cost of registration as part of the educational event: IES TM-18-18 Light and Human Health: An Overview of the Impact of Optical Radiation on Visual, Circadian, Neuroendocrine, and Neurobehavioral Responses and ANSI/IES RP-46-23 Recommended Practice: Supporting the Physiological and Behavioral Effects of Lighting in Interior Daytime Environments.
Lunch is included in the registration cost.

Cancellation Policy

Registrants/Sponsors who cancel their registration for any reason (including the denial of a travel visa due to delays or other issues) will receive a refund according to the following schedule:

  • Registration canceled more than 30 days before the event will be refunded.
  • Registrations canceled less than 30 days but more than ten days before the event will be refunded 75% of the registration fee.
  • Registration canceled less than ten days before the event will not be eligible for a refund.
  • No refunds are granted for “no-shows.”
  • Transfers and substitutions of registration are not allowed. 

Processing of Refunds

  • Refunds of registrations paid by credit card will be made by refunding to that credit card. Refunds of registrations paid by cheque will be made by check to the person or organization that issued the check.
  • All refunds should be requested in writing by completing the Refund Request form (over-the-phone cancellations will NOT be accepted).  ALL cancellations and refunds processed will incur a $99 cancellation/processing fee
