Professor Jae Yong Suk

Professor Jae Yong Suk has joined the CLTC research team as associate director and the Department of Design as an associate professor teaching courses in lighting technology and daylighting. Suk is a skilled researcher and professor with a published body of work focused on human factors such as glare impact associated with daylighting and urban lighting, and has received international recognition for his lighting design from IALD, IES, PLDC and AIA. Projects Suk has worked on include the United States Courthouse in Los Angeles, the Tom Bradley International Terminal at LAX, the Central Park at Playa Vista, and two libraries in Washington, D.C. An active member of the lighting community, Suk is an IES member of his local Section and a member of the IES Daylighting and Daylight Metrics Committees.
