Emerging Professionals Hit the HUB

The HUB lounge on the LFI show floor will be home to a number of quick-hitting panel discussions. One highlight is a follow-up to last year’s “Oh to Be Young and in the Lighting Industry!” roundtable sponsored by LD+A. The 2017 sequel—entitled “The Young and the (Not So) Restless: How Emerging Professionals Can Impact the Industry”—will take place Wednesday, May 10 from 3:00-3:45 p.m. Moderating the session is LD+A Editor and Publisher Paul Tarricone. Panelists include (from left to right) Andrea Wilkerson of Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, who will discuss “Volunteerism: An EP’s Perspective”; Rajaram Bhagavathula of Virginia Tech’s Center for Infrastructure-Based Safety Systems, who will speak on “Bridging the Divide Between Research and Practice: An EP’s View”; and Caitlin Mulligan-Ankony, SCI Lighting Solutions, who will present on “How EPs Are Changing the Image of the IES.”
