Legrand North and Central Acquires KenallLegrand, North and Central America (LNCA) has acquired Kenall, a manufacturer of specification grade lighting and control solutions for commercial, industrial and institutional buildings.

Since its founding over 55 years ago, Kenall has been active in the specialty lighting segment (dedicated to specialized applications and to critical non-residential environments); providing solutions for high-abuse environments such as hospitals, schools, public building, food processing, transportation and correctional facilities. “We’ve seen tremendous growth in the specialty and architectural lighting segments through commercial, industrial and institutional channels,” says LNCA President & CEO, John Selldorff. “With the acquisition of Kenall, Legrand expands its ability to bring innovative, intelligent, and solution-oriented products to new market segments enabling us to meet our customer’s evolving needs.
