Actor and environmentalist Ed Begley, Jr.’s new home, completed in late 2016, has attained Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. Power management company Eaton supplied lighting, residential and wiring devices solutions for the home. “Very few people go for the LEED Platinum certification in residential construction,” said Begley. “We were able to reach the Platinum level with the help of Eaton and all of the wonderful and efficient products they brought to the table.”
Eaton highlighted the completed home during the 2017 National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) International Builders’ Show (IBS) in January. Lighting used in the home included Halo H4 LED products. For a video on the installation, click here https://www.eaton.com
