December 21, 2017 — The U.S Department of Energy (DOE) has issued a pre-publication final rule pertaining to Energy Conservation Standards for Rough Service Lamps and Vibration Service Lamps. This final rule is being issued in order to codify in the Code of Federal Regulations certain backstops requirements for rough service lamps and vibration service lamps that Congress prescribed in the Energy Policy and Conservation Act.
- The effective date of this rule will be 30 days after this notice has published in the Federal Register. DOE will send a follow-up e-mail when the notice publishes to announce the effective date.
- The incorporation by reference of a certain publication listed in this rulemaking is approved by the Director of the Federal Register 30 days after this notice has published in the Federal Register.
