Based in Chicago, Steve Taggart has over 17 years of experience in the energy solutions field. At Ameresco, a leading energy efficiency and renewable energy company, Mr. Taggart works with all external and internal team members and has ultimate responsibility for customer satisfaction with all regional projects. Mr. Taggart has extensive experience in structuring and developing energy conservation projects. His current responsibilities include the oversight of business development, project development, project management and project performance. During his tenure at Ameresco, Steve has executed over $330 million dollars in performance contracts and, under Steve’s leadership, the central region has successfully developed and implemented over $1 billion in performance contracting. Mr. Taggart has won multiple accolades including General Electric’s “Strategic Partner of The Year” award, the Coalition for United Community Action’s “Contractor of The Year” award and UIC Chance Program’s “Community Partner for Engineering” award.
