Becoming a member is easy and allows you to take advantage of the educational offerings that are only available to members. Members receive discounts on publications, conferences, seminars, our LC Study Group and as well as many more educational benefits. Become a member by clicking here.
Basically, you need to be knowledgeable and have something that can be of interest to our membership. If you wish to present an IES course at the section level, please contact your local section by clicking here.

Any presentation cannot be promotional in nature and cannot be product oriented. You are permitted to state your company’s name on the first introductory slide (or verbal introduction) and the final wrap-up slide (or verbal closing). A company’s name or logo may not appear on the header or footer of each slide.

If you wish to present an IES course independently to a group, you may do so by purchasing the Instructor’s material in the IES Bookstore.

NOTE: Students can purchase their own course materials directly from the IES Bookstore. All IES material are copyrighted and cannot be reproduced in any manner.

The IES has compiled a Facilitators Directory. This Directory consists of individuals who are qualified to deliver IES materials and available to travel. Fees are to be discussed between the two parties. The IES is not involved or responsible for any remuneration agreed upon.

The IES also has a Speakers Directory with over 100 lighting presentations and presenters who can travel and present at your local event.

NOTE: Both the Facilitators Directory and the Speakers Directory are available to members only.

The IES has a growing list of Intermediate Seminars available in the IES Bookstore.
