Effect of high polymer changing into the state of solidity, becoming insoluble to solvent or increasingly resistant to corrosive chemical, by irradiation of optical irradiation.

A technique employing optical (typically ultraviolet) radiation to irradiate a liquid polymer resin and thereby harden it by means of photopolymerization.
