Committee Purpose, Scope And Documents

Purpose

This Technical Committee researches and develops best practices for lighting retail spaces.

Scope

Included subject matter: The scope includes lighting techniques for retail spaces and highlighting merchandise to support brand image and balance energy efficiency. It covers many types of retail spaces including specialty, mass merchant, department, warehouse type stores, retail centers, and outdoor lighting for retail. Excluded subject matter: This committee does not cover the illumination of related public areas outside the retail project limitations.

Experienced in business, product and software development, managing sales teams, marketing, operations, personnel, specifiers, energy analysis, lighting controls, AGI32 – Visual, high-end residential – commercial projects, energy efficient lighting, (IoT) – Internet of Things, All lighting products, Horticulture, HCL, and distribution within the Lighting industry. Exceptional communication skills at regional / corporate / International levels for both start-up and established retail, commercial and lighting manufacturers. Strong leader with proven ability to teach by example, while interacting with all levels of management. Public speaking and training are also noted as a core skill set. Entrepreneurial achiever with extensive skills and experience selling both Nationally and regionally. Deep knowledge and expertise in lighting, IoT and solid-state technology.
