[10.6.1.34] In television, film and theater lighting:

1) To adjust a luminaire, usually by moving the lamp away from the lens, to reduce the diameter of the beam of light emitted.

2) The narrowest beam possible from a luminaire that can be focused.

3) A spotlight.
