[10.6.2.7] In television, film and theater lighting: Once a 250-watt to 300-watt planoconvex spotlight, with lens diameter of 10 to 13 cm (4 to 5 in.). Now usually a 500W- to 1000-W Fresnel spotlight with a lens diameter of 15 cm (6 in.), standard in the motion picture industry.
