Shahrzad Abtahi, Associate IALD, LC, LEED AP ID+C, WELL AP, Member IES (2013), is the director of lighting design at Lightcraft at AKF’s Boston office. She teaches lighting courses at Suffolk University and Boston Architectural College and is a Board member of the Designers Lighting Forum of New England. She was one of the first lighting designers to earn WELL accreditation and was named one of North America’s 40under40 lighting designers by Lighting magazine in 2018.
