[10.6.2.54] In television, film and theater lighting: A luminaire incorporating a light source of high luminance, a lens system to provide an even field of illumination at an aperture, and a second lens to project the image of this aperture onto a planar surface with a minimum amount of geometric distortion. Slides, moving film, or rotating discs may be used in the aperture to provide still or motion effects.
